Event status and ticket availability - on sale, unavailable, canceled or sold out
This article shows you how you can set an availability status on your event and tickets.
When creating events you now have far greater control over the status of your event, your ticket groups and your individual tickets.
At the event level with a single setting you are able to control whether your event is on sale, sold out or canceled.
In ticket groups and ticket types you are able to control the status of the respective entity (on sale, unavailable or sold out) but more powerfully you can create conditions on when and how these should go on sale.

When you click Continue from the step above, you will be prompted to create your tickets, where you an set the availability to:
- On sale
- Sold out

This is useful for selling Early Bird tickets.

Along with the event status, you can set for when you'd like the event tickets to be on sale.

Date & time
If you select Date & time, you can choose the specific date and time the ticket will be available. You can leave the start date and time blank and choose and end date and time if the ticket is available now until a certain date and time.

You can hide the ticket when the time period is over, by enabling this feature in the Additional settings.

When the ticket is created, it will state the availability status and when the sale ends.

When another ticket sale ends
You can set for a subsequent ticket to be on sale when the previous ticket sale ends (ex. the General Admission tickets are offered after the Early Bird ticket sale ends).
You can do so by the following steps:
1. Click +Add ticket and input the ticket details
2. Choose "When another ticket sale ends" from Available from

3. This will prompt you to select the ticket for which the sale must end in order for the current ticket to be offered (ex. the Early bird ticket sale must end in order for the General admission tickets to be available).

4. If you wish, you can then select the end date for the current ticket

When the ticket is created, it will state the start and end date and time availability and after which ticket sale end it will be offered. The ticket is also stated as "Scheduled" and not "On sale".

You can always edit the ticket availability by navigating to your tickets in the edit view of your event page once the page is created.
