What is Google Analytics (GA4)?

Google Tag Manager lets you deploy tracking pixels, analytics, and conversion codes without modifying your site code. Connect it to Checkout Page to track customer actions across multiple platforms.

How to add Google Analytics to Checkout Page

  1. Here’s how to add Google Analytics to your Checkout Page:
  2. Open your Google Analytics dashboard and select the property you want to use
  3. Navigate to the Admin tab on the bottom left menu and open Data Streams
  4. Click on your stream and scroll down to View tag instructions
  5. Choose Install manually and copy your Google Tag
  6. Go to Checkout Page and click on the edit view of your checkout
  7. Click on the Settings icon
  8. Select Tracking pixels
  9. Paste the tag under Tracking pixels
  10. Click to Save and that’s it!
  11. It can take 24-48 hours for purchases to show up in your Google Analytics dashboard. You can see new purchases (within 30 minutes) in the Realtime view.
