How to calculate Stripe fees
This is how you can calculate Stripe fees:
Stripe fee = (transaction amount × percentage) + fixed fee
For example, if you are in the US and you process a transaction of $100, the Stripe fee will be $2.90 + $0.30 = $3.20.
If you are in the UK and you process a transaction of £100, the Stripe fee will be £1.40 + £0.20 = £1.60.
Does Stripe have hidden fees?
Stripe has transparent pricing with no setup fees or monthly charges for basic payment processing.
However, additional services incur extra costs: Stripe Billing (0.7% of billing volume), Radar fraud protection (0.05% per transaction), international cards (+1%), currency conversion (+1%), invoice generation ($0.40-$0.75 per invoice), and ACH payouts ($0.80 per payout).
