Disconnect your Stripe account
In this article, we’ll help you disconnect your Stripe account from Checkout Page.
If you want to connect to a different Stripe account or disconnect completely, you need to Revoke access.
Disconnecting your Stripe account will disrupt your payment processing. The following will be affected:
General
- Subscriptions in the disconnected Stripe account will continue to be billed through Stripe
- Updates to subscriptions in the disconnected Stripe account are not reflected in Checkout Page
Dashboard
- Updates to subscriptions in the disconnected Stripe account are not reflected in the dashboard
- Subscriptions in the disconnected Stripe account can not be managed from dashboard
- Subscriptions in the disconnected Stripe account can be managed through Stripe dashboard
Customer Portal
- The Customer Portal does not reflect updates to subscriptions from the disconnected Stripe account
- Customers of subscriptions in the disconnected Stripe account cannot cancel their subscription via our portal
- Customers of subscriptions in the disconnected Stripe account can not update their payment details via our portal
Pages/products/payments
- While disconnected, the Checkout Page account can’t accept any new payments
- After reconnecting, subscription pages would need to be re-synced in order to accept payments, so that the subscription products are created in the newly connected Stripe account
How do I disconnect my Stripe account?
- Open your Checkout Page dashboard and go to Store Settings, then click Stripe & payouts
2. Click Revoke access
3. This will take you to the "Installed apps" page in your Stripe account, where you can locate the Checkout Page extension and click to Revoke access
4. When a new window pops up, click the Revoke button again to confirm
5. Access to Stripe has been revoked
