What is a billing anchor?

The billing anchor sets the day of the month when subscription charges occur.

How to set a billing anchor

1. Go to Pages and open the checkout you want to edit.
2. Under Product, select Billing anchor.
3. Choose the billing date based on your interval:
   • Monthly — select a day of the month.
   • Every 3 months — select a month and day.
   • Every 6 months — select a month and day.
   • Yearly — select a month and day.
4. Click Save.

How proration works

The customer is charged a prorated amount at checkout covering the period between their purchase date and the next billing anchor date. Checkout Page calculates this automatically. From the anchor date onward, the full amount is charged at each interval.
