Checkout abandonment
This article shows you how you can set up checkout abandonment.
Checkout abandonment encourages customer return and boosts your revenue. It helps you have a better insight of how your customers interact with your checkout pages, and helps increase your revenue.
Setting up checkout abandonment
To set up checkout abandonment, go to your Store Settings, then Checkout abandonment from the top menu tabs.
Show recovered revenue
By default we have Show recovered revenue pre-selected, which allows you to see how many customers returned to your page and completed the purchase:

When you go to your page list under Pages, you'll see these two new columns:
- The first one is the number of recovered orders compared to the total checkout abandonment.
- The second is the total recovered revenue.

Save emails from abandoned checkouts
You can also enable to save customers' emails from checkout abandonment by selecting Save emails from abandoned checkouts.
We have installed and made the customers' emails available for you in your reports that you can export and integrate with Zapier.

You can access a list of all customers who abandoned the checkout from the page itself.
- Click the page in question
- Click Subscriptions
- Filter by "Abandoned" (It will be stated on "All" by default)

Send email reminders
You can also enable to send automated email reminders to customers who have abandoned the checkout by clicking Send email reminders.
Reminder emails will be automatically sent:
- After the first hour of since they did not complete their purchase.
- And then if they still haven't completed the purchase, another email will be sent within 24 hours.
- And it's still they haven't completed this, one will be sent again after a total of 48 hours since abandoned.
