What is the Checkout Page MCP?

It's our MCP server. It connects AI tools like Claude Code, Codex and Cursor to your Checkout Page account, using MCP (Model Context Protocol), the open standard AI tools use to work with other software. Once it's connected, your AI can create events, checkouts and forms, put them on your site and answer questions about your sales.

Which AI tools work with it?

Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, Lovable, Cline, VS Code and any other AI tool that supports remote MCP servers with sign-in. The setup guide has the steps for each one.

Why not let my AI write the Stripe code?

It can, but then you own that code: a backend, webhooks, receipts and failed payments, and a new deploy for every price change. With Checkout Page the checkout runs outside your site, so your AI only adds an embed, and you change prices, tickets and coupons without touching the code.

Lovable has Stripe built in. Why use this?

Lovable's Stripe integration has the AI write payment code into your project, and you own and maintain that code. With Checkout Page the checkout runs outside your site, so changing a price or adding a ticket type is a prompt or a dashboard edit, not a code change. It also works the same way in Lovable, Claude Code or any other AI tool you build with.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. In Claude, ChatGPT or Lovable you paste a URL or click Connect. In Claude Code or Codex you paste one command. Then you describe what you sell, and your AI creates the checkout and adds it to your site.

No. The Checkout Page MCP is included on every plan, including Free. You pay your normal Checkout Page plan, and Stripe's standard processing fees apply.

Where does the money go?

Straight to your own Stripe account. Checkout Page is a Stripe partner and never holds your funds.

Is it safe to give my AI access?

You sign in with your Checkout Page account, so you share no keys, and you can disconnect at any time. Your AI tool can create and change checkouts, forms, events, coupons and webhooks. It cannot refund payments, cancel subscriptions or move money out of your Stripe account.
