Why sellers outgrow RSVPify

RSVPify runs a guest list beautifully. It is a harder place to run a business, because the fee is charged per ticket and the product stops at the event.

  • 1.95% + $0.90 on every ticket, with no ceiling
  • On a $10 ticket their fee is 10.95%, because $0.90 of it is flat
  • No memberships. Nothing checks whether the guest ticking "member" paid
  • No recurring billing, their answer is to build it in Stripe by hand
  • No file delivery, their answer is a Google Drive link you add
  • Forms only exist attached to an event

A per-ticket fee never stops scaling

RSVPify's flat $0.90 is invisible on a $200 gala seat and brutal on a $10 class. Sell $1,000 of tickets and their service fee is 2.85% of it at $100 a ticket, 5.55% at $25, and 10.95% at $10. Same revenue, nearly four times the rate, because the fee is charged per ticket rather than per dollar. Stripe's processing sits on top of all three, as it does with us. The difference is what happens next: we price in volume bands rather than per ticket, so your bill steps up occasionally instead of climbing with every ticket you sell.

  • Stop paying by the ticket

Free up to $3K in monthly sales, then volume-based plans from $29/mo ($24/mo billed yearly). RSVPify takes $4.80 off a $200 seat and $1.10 off a $10 class, a cut on every single ticket. We do not take a per-ticket cut at all, so a $200 seat just moves you toward the next volume band.

  • Cheap tickets stop being a bad deal

A flat fee per ticket is a tax on low prices and big rooms. Sell the $10 class, the $15 workshop and the 400-seat fundraiser without watching the fee eat the margin, with QR-coded tickets and check-in included.

  • The same plan sells what is not a ticket

Memberships that bill automatically, digital products delivered instantly and standalone payment forms run on the plan you already pay for, instead of arriving as a second and third tool.

Checkout Page vs RSVPify at a glance

Both sell tickets, take donations and pay out to your own Stripe account. RSVPify wins the guest list. The difference is everything you sell that is not a seat.

"I did my research when looking for a way to sell event tickets. I did the math forward and backward, short term and long term to see what the best way would be. Checkout Page came out at the top of my list. When I began to use the platform, it was extremely easy to set up."
