Combining a coupon code and bulk discounts for event tickets
This article shows you how you can combine a coupon code and bulk discounts to event tickets.
Checkout Page makes it possible to apply both a coupon code and bulk discounts to specific tickets.
Bulk discounts
Follow these steps to enable bulk discounts on the tickets:
- From your dashboard, select Pages on the left-side menu, and click on your event page
- Go to the Bulk discounts tab on the left-side menu
3. Click + Add discount rule
4. Select Per ticket, select the ticket, and then input the following:
- Min. quantity: the quantity from which the discount is applied
- Max. quantity: the quantity until which the discount is applied
- Discount: Percentage discount or Fixed amount to apply
5. Enter your preferences and Save the changes

Combining with coupon codes
When a bulk discount(s) is applied to the event page for a specific ticket type, a coupon code can also be applied to the page and ticket for additional discount.
The discount amount or percentage of the coupon code will be reduced from the remaining subtotal that has been discounted from the bulk discount.
For example:
For every "General admission ticket" selected (if 1-3 are selected), 10% is reduced. Each ticket is reduced from $150 to $135. I've selected 2 tickets. The subtotal is now $270.
When the 50% off coupon code (SAVE50FRIENDS) is now applied on the event page, 50% will be discounted from $270. Each of the 2 tickets is now $60. The subtotal is now $135.
The price breakdown will show:
- The bulk discounted amount
- The type of ticket and the amount discounted (from the coupon code)
- The calculated subtotal
