Applying coupon codes to specific tickets

What are coupon codes?

You can create coupon codes that apply only to specific ticket types within an event. This lets you offer targeted discounts (early-bird pricing, student discounts) per ticket type.

How to create a coupon code

1. Go to Coupons from the left-side menu and click Create coupon.
2. Enter a Label — a name for your reference, not visible to customers.
3. Enter a Code — the code customers will enter at checkout (e.g. SAVE50FRIENDS).
4. Select a Discount type:
   • Fixed amount — a set amount in your currency (e.g. $25 off).
   • Percentage — a percentage of the ticket price (e.g. 50% off).
5. Under Limit to pages, search for and select your event page, then click Choose tickets to select which ticket types the code applies to.
6. (Optional) Set Redemption limits — limit the number of times the code can be used or set an expiry date.
7. Click Save.

How to add the discount code field to your event page

1. Go to Pages and open the event page.
2. Navigate to Checkout → Discount code.
3. Enable the field.
