It captures details like the visitor's location, pages viewed, time spent on each page, and device type. This data appears in your Tawk dashboard, allowing you to see who's on your site, what they're doing, and when to engage them through live chat.

How do I get the Tawk tracking script?

  1. To get the Tawk.to tracking script, follow these steps inside your Tawk.to account:
  2. Log in to your Tawk.to dashboard.
  3. In the left sidebar, go to "Administration" (the gear icon next to your property).
  4. Under the property settings, select "Chat Widget".
  5. Scroll down to the "Widget Code" section.
  6. Copy the full JavaScript snippet — this is your tracking + chat script.
  7. Paste it into the <head> or before the </body> tag of your website.
  8. This script enables both the live chat widget and visitor tracking on your site.

How do I add Tawk to my checkout?

  1. Here's how to add Tawk to your Checkout Page:
  2. Enter the edit view of your page
  3. Click the settings icon that is located on the top right corner
  4. Selecting Tracking Pixels from the left-side menu
  5. Add your Tawk tracking script in the tracking pixel text box
  6. Click to Save and that's it!

How do I confirm tracking?
