How to use the check-in system to verify and process guests arriving at your event

What is the check-in app?

Event check-in records which ticket holders have arrived at your event. Mark attendees as checked in from the app to track attendance and verify access.

How to access the check-in app

  1. Go to Pages and open the event page.
  2. Click Share & embed → Check-in guests.

The check-in app opens in a new tab showing all registered guests. The top left displays the event name, date and time, total guest count, and number checked in.

How to search for guests

Search using the search bar by:

  • Name or email address
  • Ticket code — each ticket has a unique code, even if a guest purchased multiple tickets.
  • Order ID — each purchase has a unique order ID.

How to check in and check out guests

Manual

  1. Find the guest under the All guests tab (to check in) or the Checked in tab (to check out).
  2. Click the guest to open their details.
  3. Click Check in or Check out.

QR code

  1. Click the QR scanner icon in the top right corner of the check-in app.
  2. Scan the QR code from the guest's confirmation email or customer portal.
  3. Click Check in or Check out.

How to view check-in history

  1. Go to the Checked in tab.
  2. Click on a guest.
  3. Click Show history.

The history shows each check-in and check-out event, including the date and time, method (manual or QR code), and who performed it.

How to test check-ins

  1. Go to Make test payment.
  2. Click Test check in guests.

This opens a test environment where you and your team can practice the check-in process.
