URL slug

How to customize and manage the URL slug of your checkout link

What is a URL slug?

The URL slug is the last part of your checkout payment link. It identifies the checkout in the URL.

Example: https://checkoutpage.com/business-name/free-trial

The URL slug is free-trial.

How to customize the URL slug

  1. Go to Pages and open the page you want to edit.
  2. Click Settings → URL slug.
  3. Enter a custom URL slug.
  4. Click Save.

What happens when duplicating a page with a custom URL slug?

The duplicated page copies the URL slug and appends a number to it.

Example:

Original: https://checkoutpage.com/business-name/free-trial

Duplicate: https://checkoutpage.com/business-name/free-trial-2
