Product variants
Overview of product variants, variant pricing, layouts, and quantity management options
What are variants?
Variants add options to a checkout, such as product variations (colours, sizes), pricing tiers, add-ons, or order bumps. Customers select from the options you define.
There is no limit to the number of variants. You can reorder variants by dragging and dropping.
How to add a variant
- Go to Pages and open the checkout you want to edit.
- Go to Details → Variants.
- Click Add variant.
- Enter a variant name and add options.
- Click Save.
Variant option fields
Each option within a variant can include:
- Name — the option label shown to the customer.
- Description — additional detail about the option (supports HTML).
- Image — an image displayed alongside the option.
- Price — the amount charged for the option.
- Discounted from — the original price shown alongside the current price.
- Billing — the billing model for the option: one-time, pay what you want (with a minimum and optional suggested price), or matching the checkout billing (e.g. subscription, payment plan). On subscription checkouts, this allows one-time charges alongside recurring payments.
