Disconnect your Stripe account

How to disconnect a Stripe account and the impact on payment processing and transaction history

What happens when you disconnect Stripe?

Disconnecting your Stripe account stops all payment processing on your Checkout Page account. Before disconnecting, be aware of the following:

Pages — no new payments can be accepted while disconnected. After reconnecting a new Stripe account, subscription pages must be re-synced to create the subscription products in the new account.

Subscriptions — existing subscriptions continue to be billed through Stripe, but updates are no longer reflected in the Checkout Page dashboard. Subscriptions can only be managed from the Stripe dashboard.

Customer portal — customers with subscriptions on the disconnected account cannot cancel or update payment details through the customer portal.
