How to accept donations

What is donation pricing?

A donation page uses pay-what-you-want pricing to collect funds for your cause. Customers choose their donation amount and pay.

How to create a donation checkout

1. Go to Pages → Create Page → Checkout.
2. Under Pricing, select Pay what you want.
3. (Optional) Enter a Minimum price to set the lowest accepted donation amount.
4. Select a currency from the Currency dropdown.
5. Click Create checkout.

How to suggest donation amounts using variants

Variants let you display predefined donation amounts or a pay what you want field for the customer to choose from.

1. From the checkout editor, click Variants → Add variant.
2. Enter a variant name, e.g. "Suggested donations".
3. Add options using either:
   • One-time pricing — for a fixed donation amount, e.g. "$10", "$20", "$30".
   • Pay what you want pricing — to let the customer enter their own amount.
4. Enter a Minimum price — the customer cannot pay below this amount.
5. Enter a Suggested price — this amount is shown in the payment input.
6. Click Save.
